Jet
Powered YSR Motorcycle Putting
lipstick on a pig
Plumbing the oil lines
It had to happen
sometime. Figuring out the paint scheme was hard and a name
for the bike and theme had to be chosen. With the jet engine
in it, it wasn't too hard to think of a fitting name and paint
scheme. So without any further adieu, we are proud to christen
the bike with its new name.....
The bike is also being dedicated to the hard working individuals
who protect us and our freedoms everyday, namely all branches
of the US Military, law enforcement, government agencies,
and all others who keep us safe. This is our special thank
you for making us feel safe at home again. Know that our
thoughts are with you no matter where you are in the world
and you are truly appreciated.
Gas tank top
While we are
not affiliated with the military in any way, I have always
admired the sleek look of stealth aircraft. Having worked
in the aviation industry on military planes, I can tell
you from firsthand experience that they are truly marvels
of modern engineering. I would like to capture that look
in the bike and have enlisted the help of Aaron Morriss
to cut out our vinyl graphics that are used to decorate
the bike to make it look more authentic.
Gas tank side
Along the side
of the gas tank is also a logo which may be familiar to
some of you. It is the Lockheed Martin Skunkworks logo.
The Skunkworks has been responsible for many of the aviation
wonders that the military uses and again, it is a tribute
to them as well for their pioneering spirit. By adding the
area 51 logo, it can also be seen as our laugh at ourselves
for being so strange in the projects we create sometimes.
We are truly alien to some people with our strangeness!
Flat black
The tank and
body panels are finished in flat black to give them that
Stealth Aircraft look. There are more body panels to come
with lots more interesting graphics. Should anyone be interested
in having graphics done by Aaron, I would be happy to put
you in touch with him.
Small promo video
This is a small
pre-promo video of the Air Forced bike. It is not polished,
it isn't spectacular, it just is what it is. Very soon hopefully,
we will be making a much better video when everything is
painted. For now this is here simply for your enjoyment.
The bike is now
undergoing various tests of all the systems and we will
have video available very shortly of the tests. Please come
back and see the progress we are making and don't forget
to support the site! Your contributions keep us alive and
make sure that we can continue to bring you interesting
projects. Until next time!
